Accuracy and sourcing
Upcoming World TV publishes briefs based only on reporting from established news organisations. Each brief lists and links to the reports it is based on. We do not publish rumours, social-media claims or unverified material. Major breaking news is flagged only when it has been reported by at least two independent publishers.
Stories about Middle East countries are sourced exclusively from publishers based in the country concerned.
Use of artificial intelligence
Our news briefs are drafted with the help of AI, under strict instructions to use only facts contained in the source reports, to write in neutral language and to attribute claims. Automated checks reject drafts that copy source wording or fall outside our content standards. Sensitive stories are reviewed by an editor before publication. Briefs produced this way are labelled on the page.
Neutrality and respect
We report facts, not opinions. We do not publish material that disparages any religion or belief, content of a sexual nature, or content promoting alcohol, gambling or drugs. Allegations against individuals are reported only when published by established outlets and are always attributed.
Opinion
Opinion pieces are written by named contributors, are clearly labelled, and are edited for accuracy and fairness.
Corrections
We correct errors promptly. See our corrections policy.
Advertising
Advertising is clearly labelled and is kept separate from editorial decisions. Advertisers have no influence over our coverage. We do not run advertising alongside stories about tragedies.
